[SFDXA] South Florida Ham Question

Hello Bill,

My wife and I have begun thinking about leaving NY and South Florida is
one of the options.
We are originally from NY City and currently live near Kingston, NY and
have plenty of land so I have couple of towers and a reasonably good
radio location.
Our house is going on the market next month but it may take a year or
more to sell so unless a small miracle happens there's no real urgency
at the moment.

I am a very active DXer and contester and don't want to give that up.
We recently looked at a few places in the Boynton Beach/Delray area but
golf clubs and CCA communities are not for us.

I have heard there may possibilities for houses with a reasonable cost
and some land in Wellington and Jupiter but we have no idea.
Can you give me suggestions where to look? Are there antenna restricted
areas we should stay away from?
Also, I saw a post this AM where the poster said that towers in FL are
height limited due to weather concerns. Is that true?

I'll be leaving for a little over a month mid March for the Mellish Reef
DXpedition so there's nothing we can do for a while anyway.
I hope you guys will be able to work VK9MT so look for us.

Thanks for any suggestions or help that you can offer.

73, Les W2LK
