Now
that the American Diabetes Association (ADA) 2014th Tour de Cure is
now over, I want to thank each and every one of you for an outstanding job in
communications that you provided today.  The ADA is really grateful for the
service that we provided to them and its rider participants.  As we say
with all the every event that we do, “we are your eyes and ears” for the
organization that we serve.

I
would also like to thank the South Florida DX repeater and its members for the
use of their repeater since the BARC repeater was down.  The area that we
covered in communications involved rides for a 10 K, 30, 63 and a 100 mile ride
throughout Broward and Southern Boca Raton.  Because of your generosity of
your time and communication skills, this year’s Tour was a huge
success.

As a result of today’s communications event, we
have already been asked to provide communications for the 2015 Tour de
Cure.  This comment by itself tells us that we are a valuable asset to
them.
Lastly,
if you would, please email me an overview and any pictures that you have taken
on how today’s event went and include any complaints and/or suggestions that you
have  that would benefit this Tour in the future.  This information
will be shared with the ADA Committee for a “hot wash”.
Again
thank you.
