Those needed a phone contact with ZS8Z Dave on Marion Island, may find him on the Southern Cross net (14.238)most mornings - not loud but workable.  May be best on LP ,  He also has been on 14260 with other South Africans  - 


more-  Dave's replacement next year is scheduled to be ZD9KX and known to do CW for those needing that mode. Date unknown, but likely not until Mid May 2014.

We are at the Autumnal Equinox and LP has been very good SEA, Indian Ocean (XZ1Z), and South Africa.

Myanmar (Burma) has been very workable last two days SP on 15m (around 14-15) and 20m SP (2300-0100)
