[SFDXA] SFDXA March Meeting

We had a great turnout for last nights SFDXA Meeting.

A last minute change in rooms was met favorably and some preferred it.

Mike W4UM gave a complete and excellent presentation about the 
importance of participation in the CQ DX Marathon. He encouraged all to 
participate and to link to Club Log as well. Thanks Mike!

Linking to Club Log and registering as a participant for the SFDXA 
raises our status and supports your club. If your not logging digitally 
it is time to do so. It's OK to still use paper, but it would help your 
club and yourself to move up to LOTW and Club Log. To say nothing of 
your moving forward in your hobby. DXLab and Logger 32 were mentioned as 
well as Ham Radio Deluxe. Choose one and log digitally.

Don N4TZH gave a pictorial review of the2012 Miami Hamboree. Thanks Don!

Mike W4UM who was the very First Recipient of the DX HOG of the year in 
1980made the presentation to Bill NZ5N to be the 2012 SFDXA DX HOG of 
theyear. Congratulations Bill! Oink Oink...

Sorry if you couldn't make it and we hope to see you at the next meeting 
in May.
