[SFDXA] SFDXA Meeting This Wednesday July 10th

SFDXA will hold its July Meeting this Wednesday. All are Welcome!

We are very privileged to have as our Speaker this meeting, Rich Rosen 
K2RR. Rich is a Member of the SFDXA.
He has been a ham since 1958 and he says at 70 he is still a kid in a 
candy store in Amateur Radio.

Many don't know Rich's extensive background. He has been an active 
Electronics Engineer since 1961 and also a Merchant Marine Radio 
Electronics Officer. He wrote a popular program called "From Beverages 
To Oscar" (FBTO) in the 1980's. He has worked in the Electronics 
Industry in R&D Aerospace, Navy Subs/Surf, CBS Tel Net, Hughes A/C 
Microwave-Terrestrial/Sat.

He has worked inside VOA. He was Editor In Chief of Ham Radio Magazine 
and wrote articles on RF Design.

Rich will give us an Inside View of VOA from his Perspective. He will 
also give us an update on From "Beverages To Oscar" and his latest work.

To Start off the Meeting Norm W4QN and Dave W4DN have collaborated to 
give us a pictorial of The Dayton Hamvention 2013 with an interesting 
slide show.

Come join us for Dinner after 6. Dinner is a $7 donation to the club. Go 
to the Cafeteria. They close around 7 so get there early and join us in 
the Auditorium. Meeting starts at 7:33. Please join us at the Florida 
Medical Center on Oakland Park Blvd just west of State Rd 7. Bring your 
friends. Come early and meet the DXers and Hams in this area. Meeting 
starts at 7:33. We gather before to Rag Chew, meet friends and make new 
ones.
