[SFDXA] SFDXA Meeting September 4th

The September Meeting is next Wednesday. With Labor Day next weekend and Jewish Holidays also next week, I wanted to send a note before the weekend. 

We are proud to announce our speaker is Ed N4II. He will give a presentation on Propagation. Ed did considerable research with some very interesting results. 

The title is, "Grayline Propagation, or Florida to Cocos (Keeling) on 80m".

>>> The VK9CZ DXpedition to the Cocos (Keeling) Islands made 51 QSOs with US Zone 5 on 80m.  21 of these QSOs - more than 40 percent - were with stations in Florida.  He will talk about how this happened, and the surprising physics of gray line propagation on the low bands.

The Meeting is at the Florida Medical Center next to the Turnpike on Oakland Park Blvd. Note there is no exit on Oakland to the Turnpike. 

Join us for Dinner at the cafeteria at about 6:30. A $7.00 donation to the club is the charge. Any amount over that will be charged at the register. Bring your trays across to the auditorium and meet your friends for a brag session, and make new ones. 

Meeting will begin at 7:33 PM.
