Not sure what band is referred to here, but if 80m O345UTC is mid day for VK9. Our Sunset or about 2300 has been best at my QTH. I have worked them on most bands and for the upper frequencies around 1400 SP is best, and 30/40m 2330 to 0100 has been good, and 20m also 1300 to 1400, and our sundown 2330 to 0200 , 15m in that same time period, and 17m around 1500

please post to the reflector that vk9cz was in south fla last night
around 0345z via lp
with some very strong sigs according to some reports i saw
i was out after working them around 2300z on 30 via the lp last night
was not ready or even thought a 80 meter qso was possible but sent them
email
and asked them to try again tonite
let the reflector know they might show tonight
