[SFDXA] Seven DXpeditions of the Year - at SFDXA meeting next week - also board nominations

Our SFDXA annual meeting will be next Wednesday, November 7, at 7:33pm at the usual location, the Florida Medical Center auditorium.  This will be the meeting where nominations for 2013 club officers will be made, so that ballots can be mailed to all voting members after the meeting.  If you would like to nominate someone, please verify in advance that he/she is willing to serve if elected.  We are particularly in need of candidates for President, so please let a board member know if you can take this job.  Only Full Members may serve as club officers (non-Full Members may be nominated but will be suspended from serving if Full Member status not achieved by the January meeting).


We will also have an interesting program for the meeting, a video presentation of Seven DXpeditions of the Year: "This is the untold story of seven great DXpeditions: AH1A, XR0Y, FO0AAA, A52A, 3YØX and 3X5A between 1993 and 2007.  These DXpedition video excerpts tell compelling stories of fear, 
frustration and sheer joy as DX traveler Bob Allphin, K4UEE recounts the highlights (and lowlights) of his most heralded trips, all named DXpeditions of the Year."

Arrive before 7pm and have dinner with the gang for $7 (all proceeds to SFDXA).
