Pete Rimmel and I met with Jack Matthew’s (W4OWJ) family this past Sunday and with them went through Jack’s ham gear for processing.   Many of you may have known Jack as he was a member of the SFDXA.   Below, you will find a short inventory of items that I will be taking to Okeechobee this coming weekend for “Hamfest in the Woods”.   If you see anything on the list that interest you, let me know before Friday night.   Of course, all items are “As Is”.   All items were used in a non-smoking environment.

1—Ten-Tec 565 (~2004) Orion:   $1800.00 

This unit was sent back to Ten-Tec for a full check out in September and, due to Jack’s passing, has not been used since.   It is still in the shipping box.   The backup battery was replaced, new firmware installed, Tx & Rx checked out and the unit was calibrated and “burned-in” in the test rack before returning.   Very little to no risk involved in this purchase.   There is a mic that is included with the radio. 

2—MFJ-9625D, 1500W Antenna Tuner: $195.00 

This box lists new for $297.95.   This unit looks to be in very good condx. 

3—DXE-43 vertical 1.8-30Mhz:   $150.00 

This ant. Was purchased in Nov. 2009.   It comes with the ground radial bracket and the DXE-UN-43.   It has all the documentation.   Removing tax and shipping, the invoice amount was $280.00.   Tubes and st. stl. Brackets are in great shape.   This is a good buy, in my opinion. 

4—60 Amp Tripp-Lite PR60 linear Power Supply: $150.00 

These units are listed new for $275.00.   

5—Synchro Transformers (2):   $60.00 each 

These items are like new, not sure they were ever used.   They are sold by   Axsys new for $99.00 each 

6—Icom IC-2AT, HT with IC-DMI batt. Eliminator and wall trnsfmr:   $25.00 

7—Alpha-Delta 4 coaxial switch:   $40.00 

8—Lil’ Bugger Keyer:   $5.00 

9—Vertex 2 meter mobile (DOS programmable):   $30.00 

10—SWFS-2 SWR meter:   $5.00 

There is also a Micronta multimeter, but I found that it is inop!   I will pop it open this afternoon to see if I can troubleshoot.   Unless you would like to have that project for $20.00.
