If Mike comes on he will probably be using the call VP8SGK.  Most likely only on CW. 

I have worked him for the field award as VP8CMH/mm  and GM0HCQ/mm from many locations in all water areas of the North and South Atlantic...  He likes CW and has good ears. 

He is the radio operator on the R/V James Clark Ross – a British Antarctic Survey/research vessel.
