Bill - I had 18 different band/mode QSOs with 7O6T - when I requested my QSLs thru Club Log, I didn't have to type in a single date or time - Club Log had it all recorded - couldn't be simpler. We definitely NEED to have SFDXA members be part of this. Otherwise they are not DXers and wish to do it on their own. Norm taught me how to do it and Norm and I are are always available to help others - that's what ham radio is all about, is it not?

Bill,
Thanks for taking the lead on this, I think the club members will find being a
registered Club Log member a useful DX asset. The propagation tools can be a
big help in timing your search for that rare DX. You can count myself W4QN and
I also know Mike W4UM is a member. Uploading data can be a breeze if you are
using DXLAB for your logging, as they provide a UPLOAD button. Just one
click...
Another feature of Club Log is the analysis of your contacts and if they find an
error in some of the data you get an email flagging the error.
I would encourage all DXers to register, and as Bill D points out the Club has a
chance to get more recognition.
Regards,
Norm W4QN

SFDXA friends and supporters,
There is a website called Club Log that provides a lot of good info for DXers,
see www.clublog.org. In addition to charts, propagation info, DXCC analysis and
a lot more, the site has a Club League in which DX clubs worldwide compete to
see who is top gun. I would like to get SFDXA listed in the rankings.
To get started, we need at least ten members to sign up for Club Log. It is
free and easy, go to https://secure.clublog.org/signup.php. If you are already
registered, or if you get signed up, please email me. At the moment, you will
not be able to add SFDXA as one of your clubs. Once we have ten members
registered, SFDXA will be added to the club selection drop-down box. I will
inform you when that happens and then ask you to add SFDXA to your account.
Then we will be in the Club League and see how far up the ladder we can go.
Here is how the standings look as of today:
Position
Club Name

Club Log
Average
Years QRV

slots
1 NJDXA - North Jersey DX Association 17 23 319 2003
2 CDXA - Carolina DX Association 54 21 308 1634
3 TCDXA - Twin City DX Association 50 23 303 1595
4 MHDXA - Mile High DX Association 20 21 303 1417
5 MWA - Minnesota Wireless Association 28 22 287 1453
6 FRC - Frankford Radio Club 30 19 286 1529
7 KCDX - Kansas City DX Club 22 20 271 1355
8 FOC - First Class CW Operators' Club 72 15 268 1692
9 NIDXA - Northern Illinois DX Association 33 19 267 1475
10 CARS - Cyprus Amateur Radio Society 17 11 264 1258
It would be great if all SFDXA members register, but again, we need at least 10
to get on the board.
