Minutes SFDXA meeting, 4 January 2012.

President Bill Dzurilla, NZ5N, called the meeting to order at 7:33.
We pledged Allegiance to the Flag.
Self-introductions were made: 28 persons signed the attendance sheet, 
including 4 guests.
We counted ballots and elected the SFDXA officers for 2012.  They are:
President -      Bill Dzurilla, NZ5N
Vice President -     Bill Marx, W2CQ
Secretary -     Kai Siwiak, KE4PT
Treasurer -     Ray Smolenski, N4RU
Director -     Lou Hodges, W9IL
Director -     Ed Callaway, N4II
Director -     Norm Alexander, W4QN

Announcements:
Repeater, Echolink, K4FK station all functioning normally
Last year's picnic was well attended.
Hamfest: Orlando coming up.
Fee Flea: Deerfield 6-10AM Jan 7.
Not many of us are checking into the SFDXA net -- this can be a source 
for new members if we send a note new repeater check-ins to join our club.

QCWA meeting on 14 January. 
ARRL Diamond DXCC Challenge Award, is just getting underway this year.

Program:  Sebastian W4AS, our guest speaker at the January 4 meeting of 
the SFDXA, discussed software defined radios.  Lot of interesting new 
developments with these little and inexpensive gadgets.

Meeting adjourned at 8:47.

accepted at the next SFDXA meeting, Wednesday at 7:33pm at the Florida 
Medical Center following a dinner at 6:00 PM in the FMC cafeteria. 
The charge for Dinner is $7.00 which is a donation to the club.

The next meeting will be March 7,  2012.

Future meeting will be held on June 6, 2012.
