BARC Volunteer Examiners (V.E.) wanted

The Broward Amateur Radio Club is looking for General and Extra Class
license holders to volunteer to become part of our VE team. We meet on the

Department, 1230 S. Nob Hill Rd. in Davie Florida.

What does a Volunteer Examiner (VE) do?

Volunteer Examiners (VEs) are licensed radio amateurs holding a General
Class license or higher who offer their time to administer the FCC licensing
tests. Learn how you can <http://www.arrl.org/become-an-arrl-ve> become a
VE associated with the ARRL Volunteer Coordinator office (VEC) by reviewing
the ARRL <http://www.arrl.org/ve-manual> Volunteer Examiner Manual.

In the mean time, in order to become a VE, you must download the PDF VE
Manual, read the material and complete the review (this is an open book
review) and send it back to the ARRL.

This information is found in the ARRL Volunteer Examiner Manual 9th Edition
Your complete guide to the ARRL Volunteer Examiner Program.

Please <http://www.arrl.org/files/file/vemanual2008.pdf> download PDF of
the entire manual. To view and/or print this file, you must have the free
Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can download the latest reader

Prospective Volunteer Examiners (VEs) should view "Chapter 2 - Becoming a

process. Complete the
