[SFDXA] CW in Ham Radio

Well it's fun!
What you are referring to is a DX Pileup. In that case the fun is in the
Competition. All modes of pileups have their own inerrant fun and
competition.
In other Digital modes one strong signal tends to block the entire band.
Too much power that is in PSK for example. Splatter, sidebands etc. In
the digital modes there is a link of various types in the different modes.
No link in RTTY so the pileup can spread out for the DX station to copy.
Like all other pileups.
If everyone is on the same frequency in RTTY, there is a "King Of The
Hill" environment for sure.
Each mode has it's own enjoyment factor. Lots of areas in Ham Radio for
people to enjoy.
Now for Rag Chewing the digital modes might be better overall, but when
band conditions are decent, RTTY is an enjoyable Rag Chewing mode.

Having listened to the HK0NA pileups on RTTY, the DX station has to exactly tune in to a caller, and may have to wait for the caller to repeat if the caller just stopped his transmission. If another station obliterates that caller, then the DX station has to start all over again. And of course there's no break-in or error correction.
