[SFDXA] An Evening with Vladimir Bykov, UA4WHX

Ed,

I am sure many of us have worked Vlad, and I personally have a bunch of
outstanding contacts not yet confirmed from him. I would very much like to meet
him if only to give him my list of confirmations needed. However October 8th is
Melbourne Hamfest weekend, and I would expect many SFDXA members might find that
a conflict - I know it is for me. Any chance of moving the dinner one day
either way?

 Regards,

Norm

Subject: [SFDXA] An Evening with Vladimir Bykov, UA4WHX

All,

Many on this reflector will remember the lengthy, multi-country DXpeditions of
Vladimir Bykov, UA4WHX. Vlad has activated more than 40 countries, some quite
rare, in a series of trips beginning in 2002.

Vlad will be in the US in October, and the SFDXA has arranged a dinner with him
on SATURDAY, 8 October, at 7 PM. Following dinner, Vlad will make a
presentation on his many travels. The dinner will be in a private room at
Vignetos Italian Grill, 1663 S University Dr, Plantation,
http://www.vignetos.com/plantation/ . The restaurant is just north of I-595, on
the west side of University Drive, and in a shopping center between McDonald's
and IHOP.

The SFDXA would be pleased if you could attend. PLEASE RSVP to
N4II at ARRL.net<mailto:N4II at ARRL.net> , so that we can ensure that everyone gets a
seat!

73,

Ed Callaway, N4II.
