[SFDXA] For Sale: Cubex MK II-PT-5 w/ 6meters 2 element quad

The antenna is a brand new, never used 2 element 5 band (10m-20m) MK 
II-PT-5 Cubex quad with the optional 6m kit making it a total of 6 bands. I 
bought this antenna from another SFDXA member a few years back with the 
intention of putting it up to replace my tri-band yagi but due to legal issues 
(which thank God are over) with my neighbors I have decided to go another route 
in order to add the WARC bands.  

Although it is new and has never been used, the spreaders and the boom were 
painted green by the previous owner in order to blend in with the trees. This is 
purely a cosmetic issue and will not interfere with the superb performance of 
this antenna. They can be painted another color (light blue to match the 
sky?) or the paint could be stripped if you would prefer. 


I do not remember how many elements the 6m option consists of, but I think it is 
about 3 or 4 (I will check if you need to know). Also included are brand 
new Cubex coax matching sections to feed your new quad properly.

All of this is at least $850 if you were to buy it from Cubex today, and that 
does not include the 6m option (I do not know the price of that) or shipping. I 
will sell it for $400 locally ( I live in Cooper City) as I would prefer not to 
ship this due to the length of the spreaders (13 ft.). I have a pickup truck and 
I could deliver it within reason if you need me to. this price is lower than 
what you would pay for just the spreaders from Cubex today.
