We'll they're gonna get lots of multiple uploads of the same files
because they neglected to implement a simple acknowledgment for file
uploads. The current system behaves like a black-hole for files! No way
to know if the upload was successful or not until the file is actually
processed! I sent in a suggestion that they implement a simple "file
received" message following an upload. How did they miss that obvious
tidbit?
I recommend that you send in a suggestion (is it to lotw at arrl.org?) to
do just that. Maybe if they hear from several folks they will actually
make that improvement. I've uploaded files a second time if I don't see
the first upload processed after an hour or so. This happens often. They
caused their own problem.
My suggestion is already in on their "problems" form.
