[South Florida DX Association] Weird new Chili call sign

Just worked  CD5546  from Chili on 10m ... the call sign seems to check 
out, but sure does look strange! 

This is my first QSO following a lightning strike which took out my air 
conditioner, part of my WLAN, and the speaker audio in my Icom 706.
Looking for an Icom expert for some diagnosis help (thanks already to 
AB4OJ fro early help).
