[South Florida DX Association] ARRL Equipment Insurance

Recently information was published that ARRL had to find a new carrier 
for equipment insurance and provided the name of the new carrier.
Each individual ham  now had to contact the new carrier and file an 
application for replacement insurance.

I received mail from Marsh (the present carrier) today concerning the 
equipment insurance. I contacted Marsh for more information. ARRL
canceled the insurance relationship, not Marsh. The reason given to me 
was a business decision by ARRL and not for lack of performance by Marsh.

Marsh will continue to offer equipment insurance to Hams. The rates and 
coverage will be the same. Marsh will not require ARRL membership.
I have filed one claim with Marsh and their response was excellent and 
timely . I intend to stay with Marsh for my equipment insurance.
