[South Florida DX Association] To Jim and the others being concerned about my family and the other sufferers

 From Bill NA2M:

I should have posted this news to the reflector before. Late at night
yesterday, my sister in Tokyo has received an e mail from our brother,
which told all of them were doing OK. Their location is high enough to
spare any damage from the tsunami.

Despite of no power or no water supply, they could live on with some
stock of foods. Since my mother is in a nursing facility there, she
might be taken care by the personel as well. I hope her lack of recent
memory helps her not to be aware of the difficult situation. I am really
thankful to those who are caring for her. Because they, themselves, are
suffering from the disaster as well.

I appreciate your concern for them as well as the other numerous
sufferers. Your concern and prayer together with the donation must be of
big support to them all. I say thanks a lot on behalf of them. There
seem much needs for foods, blankets or medicine etc over there. It is
getting even snowy, as the forecast says. Material as well as spiritual
supports from overseas are highly appreciated.

My room at the office is messed with fallen bookshelves, papers or books
etc. We are supposed to have another earthquake, less tha that big one
but still pretty hazardous, in a few days. That's why I am reluctant to
get things arranged as before. But I am pleased to start normal routine
at the office.
No radio at home yet. I won't enjoy it even if I have the radio set up
again. I am too much concerned about the suffering people and the
consequence of the nuclear plants almost melting down.

I am proud that most people are behaving in very good manner. Without
the traffic signals, the drivers are so courteous to give way to the
others. Our patience and resilience may let us overcome this difficulty
in the future.

Thanks again, Jim. Best regards to Nina.

Shin
