Fellow DXers
This is an interesting site that defines a DXpedition - but as
you scroll all the way to the bottom there are some interesting other
site references. Several pertain to Don Miller W9WNV,
I found the interview with him in about 2003 post jail time to be very
interesting and spark reminiscing about those great DX day in the 60's
and 70's. Lots of controversy, some tragedies (Chuck Swain and crew),
but also great fun.
Take a look at the whole site and explore some of the other elements, those of you that have been DXing for a while will recognize the greats of the 50's, 60's and later. Notables such as Danny Weil and the YASME beginning, Gus Browning W4BPD, noted DXer and publisher of DX bulletin, and of course Don Miller W9WNE. Scroll down and listen to the interviews with Don, or check out Gus's DX-pedition achievements and all the various exotic QSL cards from those days.
