Hi friends
33500 QSO are logged and uploaded on Log-online on Feb 15th at 1614 utc
Know that the Internet flux is around 4 Kb/sec. when the system performs
well.. If Internet doesn't perform, the crew has to consider a lot of
cuts during the transfer;.
The messages forwarded by Serge/F6AML, pilot station cannot be open the
most part of the time.
They decided that all rhe messages received about mistakes or so in the
logbook will be treated when the crew will be back home.
More than ever be Patient. Thank you
You will be informed in time.
Some ones asked why the longest Beverage antenna was directed to Europe
while the shortest ones are directed one toward America and the other
toward Far East Asia/Oceania.
The crew had to consider the surface of the yard available around the
Hotel building.
Exceptionally they were been authorized to set some parts of the
antennas out of the yard , with some precautions but they could do only
this :
The longest Beverage antenna is set up along a short part of a road
directed to Europe.
One of the other is set up from one of the Hotel floors, and goes
accross the road to end in the bush.
The last one , is set up toward America, runs along the short track
going from the hôtel to the beach.
Don't forget they had to do so also after the loss of a big part of
copper wire which was stolen last days, as we said in a previous message..
The weather is always very hot and storms are often coming. Statics are
annoying the traffic and the propagation is sometimes very strange.
This night focus on low bands as usually and 40m.
Even if the public AC distribution came back, there are always a lot of
cuts and Murphy helping they always arrive at worst the moment
