Years ago, my old friend Dr. Brian Austin G0GSF (ex-ZS6BKW) developed the
ZS6BKW wire antenna, which is an improved variant of the G5RV. The ZS6BKW
will outperform the original G5RV, and covers 17m (but at the expense of
15m),

G5RV from 1958.
Not a great antenna for performance but it does radiate.
