More information regarding this WebSDR:

Go tohttp://w4ax.com and you will find four WebSDR radios on (160, 80, 40,
and 20M). You must have Java loaded for your web browser. Each person can
tune the radios independently and all modes are supported (CW, SSB, AM).
This can be a good resource if you operate on nets and have trouble
receiving distant stations on your antenna that this receiver may be
receiving fine. I am primarily a CW operator so the top end of the voice
bands are not covered (the receivers are limited to 192 kHz bandwidth).

Also if you are a CW operator you can point your telnet client (typically
in your logging program) to w4ax.com port 23 and you will receive the
frequency, call signs, CW speed, and signal to noise ratio for all CW
signals being received at my QTH. It covers the entire CW portion of
(160-10M) including the WARC bands. This is useful if you live near Atlanta
GA and only want spots for signals that you can probably hear.

About WebSDR de W4AX

A WebSDR is a Software-Defined Radio receiver connected to the Internet,
allowing up to 40 users to listen and tune it simultaneously. SDR
technology makes it possible that all listeners tune independently, and
thus listen to different signals; this is in contrast to the many
classical receivers that are already available via the internet.
