[SFDXA] QSL's from a while ago

Thought this might be interesting to some. I just received a package of cards from the QSL Bureau. 
Included in the package were 2 cards from a while back.
 
One card was from AH3C (Johnston Is.) and the QSO date was in 1990. Gee, 21 years to get a card!
 
The other was from EA8ZS and who I worked in 1994.
 
There must be some stories associated with these cards. If anyone knows anything I'd be kind of interested.
The AH3C card mentions "Past Operations of Pete Grillo, W0RTT" and it also mentiones "QSO(s) Verified by Dave Patton, NT1N."
The card is signed by Lisa, K7UQT who apparently is also K1UQT according to QRZ.com. 
 
Goes to show, I guess, that you never know how long it will take to get a QSL card.
