In tests the link did not go all the way to the article. If that's the
case scroll down the left colum and you will see the Tech Notes and
there you can find the articles....the link did not work when I sent it
to myself directly either, so scroll down and enjoy the article. Good
reading as well as all their Tech Notes...

Hi Bill,

Just in case your email client didn't parse that URL correctly:
http://www.dxengineering.com/TechArticles.asp?ID={1D9AAC83-E591-46D4-86AE-B84F1CBF1D62}

With an indoor antenna I've become acutely aware of RF noise sources
around the home.
- Any of the new TVs use switching power supplies which emit noise all
over the spectrum.
- Lap top chargers are incredibly noise, especially when charging a
depleted battery, expect
   noise to past 5-6 GHz!
- Computer power supplies.
- The new Compact Fluorescent Bulbs (CFB) are big HF polluters, so are
Fluorescent tubes.
- Light dimmers are especially noisy as well.

Fortunately, many of the new LED bulbs are quite, especially if they do
not use switcher supplies.
