IARU Region II Area C Emergency Coordinator Arnie Coro, CO2KK,
reports that the Cuban Amateur Radio Federation is already operating
hurricane nets in advance of Tropical Storm/Hurricane Tomas on 7045
kHz daytime and 3737 nighttime. According to Arnie, the center of the
storm is expected to make landfall on the easternmost provinces of
Cuba or pass right next to the extreme tip of the island.
