[South Florida DX Association] Hall of Fame

I want to extend my thanks the BOD which selected me and to all the members
who so kindly applauded my election to the SFDXA Hall of Fame.  It was a
real surprise last night at the meeting to be elected to that fine group of
members.  I am deeply greatful and honored by the award.  I have already
placed the beautiful plaque you gave me in a spot of honor on my wall over
the operating position in the shack.  I know that it will be a continued
source of pride for me, and a fond reminder of all the fun we have had as a
club, as I look at it while trying to work a new one or ragchew with someone
from the operating chair.

PS: For those of you who were not there, Eddie Dauer- WB4HNM, Tom Mannix-
WA4YLD (SK), Norm Alexander- W4QN and Bill Marx- W2CQ were also elected to
the first group of Hall of Fame Members, and each received a Plaque.  Bill,
W2CQ will be giving Tom's plaque to Mike Mannix-N4OQP, to put in his shack.
