Hi ,
I was just in Sweden and visited the Grimeton Radio Museum. This is the 
only working LF station that was used in the 1920's to transmit 
telegrams to RCA radio at Rocky Pt, LI, in NY. They have six towers in a 
line for the antenna system. Each is 381 feet tall and spaced about 1000 
ft apart. The station ant system is spread over a few thousand acres. It 
is the biggest antenna I have ever seen in person.
Quite an amazing place. I met the head operator , SM6NM and he said they 
will be transmitting on 17.2 khz on July 4th and looking for QSL 
reception reports.
