Today Mike Mannix (N4OQP) and I drove up to AES in Orlando.

There was one Icom 756 PRO 3 for sale, and it looked very clean.  It has an
AES warrantee.

I purchased it and now have it connected at my station  -- Lucky ME -- LOL

I have had Mike and also Carlos - N4IS give it a critical listen on SSB and
CW.

Both say it sounds clean on CW and the Audio is good on SSB with and without
the compression.

I will give it a good workout on 160 tonight and test some of the DSP and
other features. The C-IV is working and talking to my laptop.

I think we have a winner for the club station.  I can't wait to get it up
there and in operation.
