All,
Here is K4FK's DXCC status, confirmed (but not credited at the DXCC desk) as
of 1 January 2010:
Award Total (all current entities)
----- -----
Mixed 189
CW 160
Phone 126
RTTY 3
160M 12
80M 47
40M 77
30M 6
20M 151
17M 14
15M 122
12M 4
10M 58
6M 1
Challenge 492
Interestingly:
--Our one DXCC entity on 6m is Scotland, for an SSB QSO with MM5AJW on
Christmas Day, 2001.
--Our three DXCC entities on RTTY are Desecheo (K5D), Italy (IK8GYL), and
Kazakhstan (UN1L).
--Our four DXCC entities on 12m are Ducie Island (VP6DX), Gabon (TR8CA),
Niue (ZK2V), and Paraguay (ZP6CW).
--Our six DXCC entities on 30m are Aves Island (YV0D), Desecheo (K5D),
Kuwait (9K2MU), Lakshadweep Islands (VU7RG), Solomon Islands (H44MY), and
the South Cook Islands (ZK1COW).
--On 6m, 12m, 17m, and 30m, and on RTTY, we have yet to get the USA
confirmed! Clearly, a lot of our QSOs are CW/SSB contesting.
--Puerto Rico (KP4) was unconfirmed until November 2009, when WP4SK
confirmed a 15m SSB QSO the previous month.
--On the "really impressive QSOs" list, I would put working the Lakshadweep
Islands (VU7RG) on 30m CW. Kudos to the op, whoever it was (not me!).
--The last two additions to the "confirmed" list were both made on 31
December: China (BA4TB) at 1324z for a June QSO, and Singapore (9V1YC) at
2115z for a QSO in September. Both were on 20m CW.
K4FK now has 1022 LoTW QSLs from its 3427 QSOs, a rate of 29.8% -- not too
bad for LoTW.
Best to all in 2010!
Ed N4II.
