Dawn to Dusk - 24-Hour Scottish Islands Amateur Radio Challenge

Bob, GM0DEQ, will be initiating the Dawn to Dusk Amateur Radio Challenge
in June, when he will be activating up to 15 Scottish islands within 24
hours, using a sea plane as transport. His callsign will be GB4DTD [Dawn
To Dusk].

Activity will be on the HF bands, 40-10 meters.
QSL via GM0DEQ.

The island list is subject to change due to a few factors
governing their sea plane transport. More details will be published on
the following Web site, when available, at: http://www.gdram.com

In addition, there will be a specially commissioned trophy available to
win for this probable first? To celebrate the challenge, an Orkney
Crystal Glass Trophy will be awarded to one lucky amateur radio station.

This specially commissioned trophy will be awarded to the first station
that has worked Bob on all the islands that he activates or the first to
work the most islands activated [All he asks is that the recipient funds
the appropriate post & packaging].

The departure date will be subject to WX too, and will be from Monday,
June 14th, onwards as close to the longest
day to maximize daylight flying. The latitude of the Orkney Islands will
also assist in maximizing daylight flying.
