There's been a lot of confusion about the next DX University class (Monday,
28 September), since it falls on Yom Kippur.
Irwin, N4IEW, first brought this to my attention, and confirmed that
Nova-Southeastern University is closed on that day. This surprised me, as I
had only recently had that date confirmed by the university professor who
reserved the room for us, so I asked Irwin to contact the professor
directly. (I've been out of town on business, and largely incommunicado.)
Irwin did so late yesterday, and confirmed that we do, in fact, have the
room (Carl DeSantis Building, Room 3029) reserved on 28 September. In fact,
university security will open the building especially for us, beginning at
5:30, keep it open for the duration of the class, then close it again when
we leave!
To sum up: The next DX University class (on Propagation) WILL BE HELD AS
SCHEDULED, on Monday, 28 September, in Room 3029 of the Carl DeSantis
Building on the campus of Nova-Southeastern University
(http://www.nova.edu/locations/maps/maincampus.html ). Since the university
is clearly going the "extra mile" for us, I give special encouragement to
everyone to attend.
