Well, we did not operate full time, but we had fun. Scott (W4PJ) and I
operated the CQWW as a multi-single High power category at FMC with the
following results:
BAND QSO CQ DXC DUP POINTS AVG
--------------------------------------
160 0 0 0 0 0 0.00
80 1 1 1 0 2 2.00
40 83 16 50 0 218 2.63
20 231 26 92 2 660 2.86
15 312 31 117 1 894 2.87
10 54 9 17 0 146 2.70
--------------------------------------
TOTAL 681 83 277 3 1920 2.82
======================================
TOTAL SCORE : 691 200
We worked 131 individual DXCC countries, and as you can see we had over 100
on 15 meters, along with 31 of the 40 CQ zones. Unfortunately, the 80/160
meter antenna was not tuning in either band, though I had checked about 2
months ago. I suspect that one leg of the 80 meter antenna has come loose
from the 160 and is dangling against the tower... Porbably why Scott set off
the fire alarm at one point. I did the same thing checking it on Sunday--
LOL
Our rough score, subject to corrections by the contest robot catching our
typos and errors is just under 700K points.
We added 36 new band countries to the K4FK log, and probably 6-8 new DXCC
entities as all time new ones. I need to check the list against the Logger
32 log.
It was fun, but I wish more people had been up at the station to enjoy the
fun.
