The May 20 South Florida DX Association Net convened at 7:30 with the following patricipants: W3AZD,WB3ANE,WA4WTG,K4XZ,W4DL,N4IEW,KI4WDQ,WZ4S,KI4IQZ,AI4BG,W4OV AND W4EMM.
Comments from the people that attended the Dayton convention included:from W3AZD..."saw people hadn't seen in years and was overwelmed with QSL cards--from WB3ANE...''had a great time and participated in the ARRL pr booth"-- from W4DL..."the forums were great at the promised land of ham radio and the prices were better than reasonable"...W4OV and W4EMM were so impressed with all the favorable talk concerning the convention that they decided they would attend Dayton 2010...(how bout we put a little bit $ away each meeting,take a bus and go and enjoy?...just a thought...any interest?)
Stations, working dx this past week, said conditions for the most part were "flat" and "bands were noisey"...
I'd like to offer a few things that I think we should be aware of/concerned about...

modes and frequencies as possible. This is not a contest or simulated hurricane exercise.WX4NHC will be on the air on HF, VHF and UHF, plus 2 and 30 meters. Suggested SSB frequencies are 3.950, 7.268, 14.325, 21.325 and 28.525 MHz, +/-QRM...
