Bruce,
I am surprised you had problems with WS_FTP file transfer program. I have been using it for several years, and manage four or five web sites with it.   There is a newer version (upgrade) but as yet I am still using the original application, and it is installed on four different computers - never know which one I need to access the sites with.

Several years ago I used WS-FTP it worked just fine but then with the 
newer operating systems it was no good.  My QSL website suffered and I 
did not update it. Now I have found a new FREE FTP program called 
FileZilla very easy to use.  I have updated some of my files on 
QSL.net.  I thought someone might be interested in a new FTP program.
Just google FileZilla.
