“All equipment sent via the ship has safely arrived on Lord Howe
Island. When we finished packing all the gear we ended up with more
space taken up than we had booked so we
quickly managed to get more freight space on the boat.

Notes:
1. u/d: Simply means we’re listening UP or DOWN
2. 6m: Call us when the beacon goes into RX mode.
3. 40m: RX for the Americas will be above 7.150
4. 80m: A special time on April 1 has been set up to work the VK and
greater Pacific. (see the web site<www.odxg.org/vk9la.htm

these areas not call us in the pile ups on 80m before this event.
5. Pilot: Don, N1DG will be our only pilot station.
6. VK4FW will arrive on Sunday March 22nd. He will begin unpacking and
sorting equipment and might manage to get a station on the air for
Sunday evening local time. On Monday (Mar 23) 4 more of the crew
arrive and will begin further assembly. We will try to get 2 stations
on the air ASAP. Tuesday (Mar 24), when the rest of the crew arrives
we will finish assembly and get all stations on the air ASAP.
