[South Florida DX Association] Tampa Bay Hamfest Dec 5 & 6 VE Session 12/5 at hamfest, Holiday Meeting

The next meeting of the Mid Florida DX Association will be Tuesday 
December 8, 2009 at Mike Du Mond QTH, 125 Hickory Creek Dr., Brandon, 
FL.  Time: 7:00 PM local.

This will be our annual Holiday meeting. We'll have light snacks, good 
conversation.

MFDXA is again doing the 9:00 A.M. VE session at the Tampa Bay Hamfest 
instead of the 2nd Saturday.  The Hamfest is almost totally sold out.  
ICOM America will be at here for the first time is several years. 

I will have 100 of the new Nairobi IRC with me for those still having 
difficulty purchasing them at you local post office.  Cost is $2.15 each.

Steve KS4WA and myself will be again do DXCC VUCC Cards checking after 
the VE Session.  Make sure you have the current forms. They are 
available at http://www.arrl.org/awards/dxcc/  Please don't forget a 
stamped envelope addressed the the ARRL. 

*Meetings are _open to all radio amateurs interested in DX_.  I hope to 
see you there.** We will also answer any questions you might have about 
DXing (including how to get started).*
