Thanks to everyone that replied so quickly. It seems that I probably did in
fact work VK9LA and not a pirate, now I just have to wait and see if they
can find me in the paper log. I contacted the qsl manager for the operation
and he is trying to acquire the paper log so that he may see if there was a
typo or omission that has caused my contact to not be listed in the
electronic log when they transferred the contacts over. He has been more
than helpful so far so I am hoping for the best. Thanks again.

Subject: [South Florida DX Association] VK9LA

I am having a problem with my only contact with VK9LA in that it does not
come up when I do a search of the VK9LA log book on their website.

I have contacted the qsl manager for VK9LA and he thinks that I may have
worked a pirate.

My contact was on 3/23/09 on 14.250 Mhz at approximately 20:57 utc.

Did anybody else work VK9LA at about the same time on the above date and
frequency?? If you could check your logs and let me know I would greatly
appreciate it.

                                          Thanks,
                                           Todd
