[South Florida DX Association] Need To Translate Something?

I remember a few years ago being priveliged to come aboard a DEA speedboat
equipped with state of the art military radio gear. It was a rackmount
system with quad redundant transcievers. Digital multiband units with
sequential band monitoring capablities, and automatic switching antenna
system so that whatever band frequencies gave the best propagation between
desired stations, the system automatically switched and monitored the other
band frequencies ready to switch for optimum communications.

The maker was HQ'd in Sevierville Tennessee.

Hi Dave,

Well, for a non-Spanish speaker I guess I didn't brutalise the language too
badly!

Rockwell-Collins are one of the world leaders in radio communications and
avionics nowadays. They have displaced Marconi and Racal as suppliers to the
Royal Navy, among other things.

Adam: That's better, but the best translation is "Collins fabrica el mejor
equipo de radiocomunicaciones del mundo". --And I don't think it that's
true any longer. (Pardon me, Bill.) Translation is one of the most
difficult arts for men, not made for machines. I have used several
translation software in my office and none of them is accurate.
