SFDXA MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT

The next meeting of the South Florida DX Association will be held on
Wednesday evening, May 7, at the Florida Medical Center (FMC) Auditorium in
Lauderdale Lakes (Oakland Park Blvd. adjacent to the Florida Turnpike).
Members and guests will gather at 6:00pm for our bi-monthly fixed-price
dinner ($7 per person). As usual, our meeting and program will begin a
7:33pm.

Our featured speaker this month will be George Wallner, AA7JV, who was one
of the team leaders of the VK9WWI Dxpedition to Willis Island in 2007.
George will be sharing his Willis slide presentation with us. George, who 
was
first licensed as HA7YPA in 1967 and is a former member of the HA5KFZ
contest club. He moved to Australia in 1973 where he was licensed as VK2NU
and regularly operated mobile from the Australian outback. George moved to
Arizona in 1990 but now resides in Miami Beach. Don't miss this interesting
presentation!

Full members of SFDXA will be voting on one Member application for Full 
membership in SFDXA.
