[South Florida DX Association] Stuart Hamfest Next Saturday, March 15, 2008.

  Everyone is invited cordially invited to attend the ARRL Southern
Florida Section Convention and Stuart Hamfest on Saturday, March 15, 2008.

The event will be held at the Martin County Fairgrounds, 2616 SE Dixie
Highway, Stuart, Florida 34996.  The event runs from 7 AM to 5 PM.
   
Admission to the event is FREE.  Tailgate spaces are also FREE.  There
will be modestly priced food available on site.  We will be selling tickets
to our prize drawing.  There will be hourly prizes and at the end of the day
we will draw for our major prizes.  You do not need to be present to win the
major prizes.  Third prize is a Yaesu VX-7R Quad band handheld transceiver.
Second prize is a Kenwood TM-V71A VHF/UHF transceiver.  First prize is an
Icom IC-7000 MF/HF/VHF/UHF transceiver.  Total value of the prizes is well
over $2000.
    
We will have a VE test session starting at 11 AM.  We will also have
forums running throughout the day.  The forum schedule is below.
    
We will also have a featured area for ARRL affiliated clubs.  All
affiliated clubs in the Southern Florida Section are invited to participate.
We have a special space for any club that asks.  You can promote your club,
your activities, ham radio in general, or just use it as a swap table.  If
you would like to participate please contact us.  We will also have at least
one live amateur station operating from the Fairgrounds.
