[South Florida DX Association] "The Coming Solar Super Storm" From Another List

I received my September, 2008, issue of Astronomy magazine in the mail 
today.

On pages 34-37, is an interesting article titled, "The Coming  Solar
Superstorm."

The article describes the most intense solar storm ever  recorded, on August
28, 1859. (Yes, that's before the civil  war.)  According to Sten Odenwald, 
a
"Superstorm" during the next  solar cycle may likely happen between 2010 and
2012,  near the peak of the  Sun's activity cycle.

It makes interesting reading.   Pickup a copy at  your local newstand, or
your local library.
