[South Florida DX Association] HT Repair

I have a matched set of Yaesu HT's (oldies but goodies) - The FT-109RH, 209RH and 709RH, all with the optional PL chip, each with it's own NC-15 drop in desk charger. The 2m HT has no volume, and the squelch won't close on the 440 HT; the 220 HT still works fine after all these years.

I have had *terrible* experiences with the Yaesu Factory Repair Facilites and with International Repair (IRS) in Melbourne. I would like to have the 3 repaired and reconditioned but am at a loss for a repair facility. Most don't want to touch HT's, let alone older ones.

Can anyone offer me a suggestion (from experience) of a reliable and quality repair facility for these? I don't mind shipping them, but would like them back sooner than 6 months (IRS). I'll buy new batteries when they come back.

Thanks, Warren
