Many thanks to all who replied to me on and off the list.  As it turned out, the cap was available just a few miles from my QTH.  I got it from Lafayette Homeowners Electronics, on US 441 just south of Broward Blvd.  It's mainly a CB and TV repair shop, but they have a fair selection of components, connectors, and coax.
