[South Florida DX Association] Plastic Car

Thanks to all for their suggestions. But...I coulda had a V-8! A half wave
antenna doesn't NEED a ground. I can drill a hole in the trunk, put a 12"
"washer" under there and I should be good to go!

I'm down to one car and have been for a couple of years. The car is a
Sebring Convertible. Rag top. Trunk and engine cover are fiberglass(?). The
only metal part of the car are the sides and there's nothing there that's
flat. So a 2 meter magmount won't work (unless I put it on the door at 90
degrees and work sideband <grin>).

It seems like my only option is a trunk lip mount. That would face inward
(too many ridges outward) and sit on top of the plastic trunk. Does any one
have any other suggestions?
