Well, we had fun, I guess... I woke up this AM and wondered where the
weekend went HI HI.
Everything worked fine except the new contest logging program had a glitch.
Even though I registered it, it required shutting down and restarting about
every 2 hours. Not a big problem. Didn't miss a QSO while doing it. 160
Meters has too much noise on receive... lots of birdies. We couldn't hear
any europeans... too bad... other than that, the noise to the North East
was only a minor problem. But at times s-9 on 10 meters, but you can see
that 10 didn't really open up here, anyway. Our score? Here it is:
Band----------QSO-----Zones-----Countries
160----------------22------7--------14
80-----------------140----20-------81
40-----------------207----25-------93
20-----------------409----31------125
15-----------------211----26-------98
10------------------18-----9--------13
TOTALS 1007---118-----424
SCORE: 1,506,218
Operators: N4QV, W4OV, WJ4N, NZ5N, N8PR
Thanks to everyone for all the help getting the antennas and station working
and for ops during the test.
If 2 other people send their score in to CQ and claim membership in SFDXA,
se can get a listing in the club scores section... It takes 3 entries to
get the listing... so PLEASE, if you have a score to send in, put SFDXA on
it. Thanks.
73, PeteR
