Well I got quite a few responses and in general the reports echoed my
observations.

But this morning was different as they were very good copy on 20 CW and on
SSB. The spread on CW was from about 027 to as high as 063. Not good.

Also 40m cw was pretty good. Very workable, but pile-up horrendous and I
DID NOT succeed (yet). Hope that band conditions will continue to improve.

Some reports said the a strong 20m station on the 30th was worked, but there
is some speculation it was a pirate. See the following excerpt from Charlie
K4VUD, also HS0ZCW
=====
The first night, that they were on 20 cw, there was another station within a
few cycles of same freq working at slightly different speed the stations
just as if it was BS7H. That is , both stations were wroking the pile with
one being a fake. BS7H comes in here vy loud and for a long time, but the
other station musta been near because his prop. was the same into my HS
listening post.

I hv never hrd such a clever fake on CW and he was working about as many as
the real BS7H. Vy sad and I guess about half of the guys who think they
worked the real worked instead the fake.

Again thanks for all the responses, hearing about every one's poor results
actually was encouraging, as it could not get much worse - hopefully we can
all brag about working them at the up coming DX dinner.

Regards,
