Subject: [FCG] For Sale - TH11DX

Tuesday morning I dismounted my TH11DX and mounted the new 4-el SteppIR.

I removed the 22 pieces of "half-elements" from the boom and stored the
whole shebang temporarily. So now I have 23 pieces including the boom, which
is 24 feet long. The other element pieces vary in length to a maximum of
around 16-17 feet.

The antenna was up for almost two years. A few of the end caps (including
the dampening ropes inside the aluminum tubes) will need replacing. A very
few of the bolts on the boom-to-element clamps may need replacing. When it
was assembled, we tried to coat everything as effectively as possible and I
was able to get the elements out with very little difficulty.

My asking price is $450 or best offer. A guy in Texas wanted the antenna,
but I eventually refused to take it apart sufficiently to ship it. Just too
much cotton-pickin' work! If one of the FCG group would like the antenna I
think I could deliver (or meet part way, depending on what the buyer owns
for transport) either using my camper (if I remove the rear window screen, I
might be able to get everything in the camper!) or using my boat trailer. I
have a 23-foot sailboat and I think it wouldn't be too tall a stretch to
bundle up the boom and all the elements to the trailer to make delivery.
