Steve:
I just called, asked for the reservation desk and was transferred to someone 
in Malaysia, who told me "Sorry we are sold out".  He had never heard about 
the Hamvention or amateur radio.  I called back to the hotel, and then I was 
transferred to the supervisor, who did now what I was taking about. Just 
gave him my last name, and I was on the list!
